Claudia Hanna joins Sharm El Sheikh Theatre Festival committee

Iraqi actress Claudia Hanna has been appointed to the selection committee for the 11th edition of the Sharm El Sheikh International Youth Theatre Festival. The festival, which honors the career of artist Suhair Al-Murshidi, is scheduled to take place from November 1 to 5, 2026.

Hanna is also currently serving as a jury member for the third edition of the Bardiya Film Festival held in Cairo. This edition of the film festival, named in honor of the late artist Khaled Saleh, features a jury led by director Magdy Abu Amira and includes members such as Mohsen Sabry, Dr. Laila Al-Maghrabi, and Palestinian director Fayeq Jarada.

These appointments follow Hanna’s previous participation as an honorary guest at the second Dhofar International Theatre Festival in Oman, highlighting her ongoing presence in Arab cultural and cinematic events.
