The garment was inspired by a blue-green striped duchess satin fabric. To preserve the integrity of the textile, the design utilized a structured base with draped elements rather than heavy cutting. The silhouette incorporates elements of 1980s evening fashion, featuring strong shoulders and a dramatic color contrast, while the draping evokes ceremonial and royal attire.

Kiss described the aesthetic as a contemporary interpretation of ‘Regal Couture,’ utilizing antique brooches and pins to enhance the imperial and theatrical effect of the look.
