Claudia Sheinbaum evaluates international travel and celebrates Charlyn Corral

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is currently evaluating her international schedule for November, which includes potential attendance at the Ibero-American Summit in Madrid, Spain. She noted that her participation remains unconfirmed as her team balances these meetings with other commitments, such as the APEC summit in China and the G20. Sheinbaum stated that if she is unable to attend the Ibero-American Summit personally, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs will represent Mexico.

Separately, President Sheinbaum congratulated Mexican footballer Charlyn Corral for winning the Gerd Müller trophy at the Ballon d'Or gala. Corral, playing for Pachuca, became the first Mexican footballer to receive this award after scoring 42 goals during the 2025-2026 season and 11 for the national team. Sheinbaum described the achievement as a source of pride for the entire country.
