Claudia Villafañe denies Boca Juniors vice-presidency rumors

Claudia Villafañe has officially denied rumors suggesting she would run as a vice-presidential candidate for Boca Juniors in the 2027 elections. The reports, which surfaced via the program ‘Puro Show’, claimed she might join an opposition list led by Leandro Petersen, the current commercial and marketing director of the AFA.

Villafañe released a statement on social media calling the information “FALSE” and expressed frustration that the news was broadcast without prior consultation. While she acknowledged knowing Petersen and having worked on various football-related projects, she clarified that the claims regarding her political candidacy at the club are untrue.
