Published by Castelvecchi, the work was created as part of an artistic project commemorating the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi.

The limited edition has gained significant attention on social media due to a unique editorial choice: the 228 pages are uncut, requiring the reader to physically cut them to progress through the text. This design is intended to make the act of reading a symbolic, physical journey.
