Claudio Barrelier's home raided in Córdoba over Agostina Vega femicide
Police and fire units in Córdoba conducted a new raid on the residence of Claudio Barrelier, the main suspect in the femicide of 14‑year‑old Agostina Vega. The house on Juan del Campillo 878 remains under police custody after threats to set it ablaze in retaliation. Authorities aim to preserve evidence and protect nearby residents while searching for items that could clarify the circumstances of the killing, which is believed to have occurred in the home.
Three detainees are currently held, including a man linked to alleged aggravated concealment. Investigators continue to examine the scene for forensic clues and plan to interview the suspects next week, as the case proceeds under a sealed indictment with prosecutor Raúl Garzón overseeing the probe.
