Claudio Iozzi returns as General Manager of ATM Messina

Claudio Iozzi has officially resumed his role as General Manager of ATM Messina S.p.A. This return follows a period during which Iozzi held other significant positions in the sector after his previous term was not renewed by the Board of Directors in February of last year.

Iozzi’s reappointment comes with the support of the Mayor of Messina, Federico Basile, and the company’s President, Chiara Sterrantino. The leadership aims to ensure the implementation of the service contract and advance several strategic corporate dossiers. Key priorities include investment programs for a new electric fleet and charging infrastructure, as well as completing works to restore tramway operations.

Mayor Basile stated that Iozzi’s experience and knowledge of the company will be essential to accelerating ongoing projects and improving local public transport efficiency.
