Claudio Pettenuzzo shares personal story of loss and caregiving

Photographer Claudio Pettenuzzo, the official photographer for the 0048 project, has shared his personal story regarding his late wife, Sabrina, and his experience as a caregiver. In a new episode of the podcast ‘0048 Mission is possible’, Pettenuzzo discusses their relationship, which began through photography and led to their marriage in June 2021.

Pettenuzzo details the challenges of supporting his wife through illness and the subsequent loss. He has released a book titled ‘Ti aspetterò dove tramonta il sole’ to transform his grief into a narrative that can assist others. His work remains closely tied to the 0048 project, an initiative based in Varese hospitals designed to support women facing oncological pathologies.
