Claudio Stefanazzi appointed PD commissioner in Cosenza

Claudio Stefanazzi has been appointed as the new commissioner for the provincial federation of the Partito Democratico (PD) in Cosenza. The appointment comes at a time when the center-left coalition in the region is seeking greater unity and practical engagement with local issues.

Cosenza Mayor Franz Caruso welcomed the appointment, emphasizing that the new leadership must focus on concrete challenges such as employment, service quality, economic development, and urban regeneration. Caruso noted that the PD's new phase will be vital if it can successfully connect political strategy with effective governance.

Other political allies, including representatives from the Movimento 5 Stelle (M5S), have also reacted to the appointment. Giuseppe Giorno, the provincial coordinator for M5S, expressed a desire for serious dialogue and program-based cooperation as the region prepares for upcoming administrative and national elections.
