ClawLab update enables 180 Hz overclocking for MSI Claw handhelds

The community-driven project ClawLab has released version 2.2.0 of its Intel VRR Range Fix utility, providing significant display updates for several MSI Claw handheld models. The update supports the MSI Claw A1M, Claw 7 AI+, Claw 8 AI+, and Claw 8 EX AI+.

Key improvements include stabilized Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) ranges of 30–120 Hz and 45–120 Hz. Additionally, the update introduces experimental overclocking profiles that allow certain models to reach refresh rates as high as 180 Hz, with various configurations ranging from 30–144 Hz up to 48–180 Hz.

Developers caution that these high-frequency profiles are unvalidated and experimental. Because the success of the overclocking depends on the specific quality of the individual display panel installed in each unit, performance may vary significantly between devices.
