Clay reaches $7.1 billion valuation following $115 million funding round
New York-based software startup Clay has raised $115 million in a Series D funding round, bringing its valuation to $7.1 billion. The round was led by Wellington Management, with participation from investors including Sequoia, StepStone, Andreessen Horowitz, Perennial, Meritech, and Alphabet Inc.’s CapitalG.
Clay specializes in AI-driven sales and marketing automation. Its platform uses AI agents to analyze business data, identify potential leads through natural language descriptions, and automate personalized campaigns. The software features a ‘Waterfall’ function that scans multiple external databases to enrich lead records with information from over 200 sources, streamlining workflows that typically require multiple separate contracts.
Co-founder and CEO Kareem Amin stated that the company aims to serve as an engine for growth by building agents that can execute business actions. The current valuation represents an increase of approximately $4 billion since its $3.1 billion valuation in August 2025.
