Clayface film releases new horror-themed imagery and poster

New promotional material for the upcoming DCU film ‘Clayface’ has been released, highlighting a horror-oriented tone for the character’s big-screen debut. A recently shared image depicts the character Matt Hagen experiencing a gruesome transformation, with his face appearing to melt and slide away.

Directed by James Watkins and written by Mike Flanagan, the film follows Matt Hagen, a rising star who becomes a test subject to restore his face after being disfigured by a crime boss, only to transform into the shape-shifting villain. The film is part of ‘DCU’s Chapter One: Gods and Monsters’ and is scheduled for theatrical release on October 23.

Additionally, artist Orlando Arocena has unveiled a handcrafted movie poster for the film. The artwork, created using Adobe Illustrator rather than AI, features a silhouette of Clayface in various states of melting horror against a city backdrop. The poster has received significant attention from fans for its intricate and visceral design.
