Clayface stars Tom Rhys Harries and Naomi Ackie promote new DC horror film

Actors Tom Rhys Harries and Naomi Ackie are conducting promotional tours for the DC Studios film “Clayface,” a standalone horror-thriller directed by James Watkins. The film, which marks DC’s venture into the horror genre, follows the story of Matt Hagen, a man whose pursuit of stardom leads to a gruesome physical transformation into the iconic villain.

Harries, who plays the title role, noted that the production utilized exterior locations in Liverpool to provide a more authentic feel for Gotham. The film features a screenplay by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini and is produced by Matt Reeves, James Gunn, and Peter Safran.

Promotional activities have included a premiere in London and a photo call at the Empire State Building in New York. The cast also includes Max Minghella, David Dencik, and Eddie Marsan.
