CleanCore Solutions sells Dogecoin holdings to fund AI infrastructure pivot
CleanCore Solutions has exited its Dogecoin treasury strategy, selling nearly all of its 463 million DOGE holdings on July 20 for approximately $33.4 million. According to SEC filings, the company is redirecting these proceeds toward its artificial intelligence infrastructure business.
The capital reallocation is part of a broader effort to fund AI data center projects. CleanCore has raised or committed approximately $140 million in equity for an AI data center project in Minnesota, which includes the net proceeds from the Dogecoin sale and a $100 million stock offering. The company has also entered into an agreement with Cerebras Systems for the Minnesota project, valued at roughly $800 million over the first 10 years, with a potential total value exceeding $3 billion if all renewal options are exercised.
While the pivot targets the growing demand for AI computing power and electrical infrastructure, the company's recent $100 million stock offering has increased its shares outstanding by about 122%, leading to significant dilution for existing shareholders.
