Hygiene concerns at Oslo's Leo's Lekeland after father finds feces
Father Rune Weierholt, 46, was visiting Leo's Lekeland in the Ulsrud area of Oslo with his 3‑year‑old son when he discovered a lump of feces on the floor about 15 metres from the restroom. He also noted numerous coffee, water and soda cups and sticky soda stains throughout the venue, describing the floor as generally dirty and slippery.
Weierholt immediately alerted staff, but said they only removed a few cups and then returned to their phones, leaving the feces and other mess largely unattended. Leo's Lekeland market director Gabriel Bergqvist confirmed that the centre's local management is aware of the incident. The father said the episode highlighted a lack of proper cleaning routines and caused shock and disbelief for him and other parents present.
