ClearVue Technologies' Gen 3 Vision Glass Secures Global Certifications
ClearVue Technologies announced that its Gen 3 Vision Glass has earned three major international certifications – IECEE CB, CE and TÜV MARK Safety – following independent testing by TÜV SÜD. The product, which uses tunnel‑oxide‑passivated‑contact (TOPCon) photovoltaic cells, was evaluated against the latest IEC performance and safety standards (IEC 61215:2021 and IEC 61730:2023) and met durability, electrical safety and mechanical reliability requirements across four variants ranging from 9 W to 336 W.
The certifications, recognised in more than 50 economies, provide a commercial foundation for specifying the BIPV glass in commercial building projects worldwide and open access to the European Union market. ClearVue also reported compliance with Australian/New Zealand Standard 2208 and European Standard EN1279‑5 for safety‑glass testing. Managing Director Douglas Hunt emphasised that the company’s internal testing exceeds the required cycling by over double, simulating more than 25 years of building ageing.
These milestones validate ClearVue’s design and manufacturing approach and are intended to support the international deployment of its Gen 3 platform in the construction sector.
