German historical archives feature diverse museum artifacts

Various German institutions have cataloged diverse historical artifacts, ranging from personal memorabilia to architectural remnants.

The Freies Deutsches Hochstift and Frankfurter Goethe-Museum hold a silver medallion of Katharina Elisabeth Goethe created by Rudolf Bosselt in 1902, as well as a 1802 handwritten transcription of a poem by Clemens Brentano.

In Berlin, the Landesgeschichtliche Vereinigung für die Mark Brandenburg preserves several historical postcards. These include an aerial view of Potsdamer Platz from 1915, a view of Königgrätzer Straße (now Stresemannstraße) featuring horse-drawn carriages, and a view of Alexanderplatz showing landmarks such as the Berolinahaus and the Alexanderhaus.

Additionally, the Museum Schloss Lichtenburg features a highly decorated 'Feierabendziegel' (end-of-day roof tile) made of fired clay, dating back to approximately 1788, which serves as a notable example of historical craftsmanship.
