Clemente Huerta takes third in US Formula 4 race in Virginia

Chilean driver Clemente Huerta, racing for Kiwi Motorsport, secured third place in Race 1 of the sixth round of the United States Formula 4 Championship at the Virginia International Raceway.

During the 30-minute race, Huerta competed closely with Canadian drivers Cole Medeiros and Caleb Campbell. Although Huerta crossed the finish line in fourth place following a mid-race Safety Car period, a 30-second penalty issued to Caleb Campbell for contact with Medeiros promoted him to the third position. This marks Huerta’s third podium of the season.

The race was won by Uruguayan driver Gastón Irazú, followed by South African Zach Fourier. Huerta also secured the pole position for the second race of the round.
