Clemente Huerta wins two races to close FIA F4 US season

Chilean driver Clemente Huerta Raab concluded the FIA Formula 4 United States Championship season with two consecutive victories at Barber Motorsport Park in Birmingham, Alabama. Driving for Kiwi Motorsport, the 17-year-old secured a pole position and maintained the lead throughout the weekend.

With these results, Huerta finished fourth in the overall championship standings and earned five additional points toward his FIA Superlicense. His season performance included two wins, four third-place finishes, and one pole position across eight rounds. During the final races, he finished ahead of Mexico’s Fernando Rivera and Canada’s Caleb Campbell, while the season champion, Uruguay’s Gastón Irazú, finished fourth.

Reflecting on the season, Huerta expressed satisfaction with his potential to win and noted the challenges of cold track and tire conditions during the final race. He indicated that his focus for the upcoming year involves evaluating opportunities in USF Pro 2000 and Formula Regional, pending budget availability.
