Clemson coach Dabo Swinney provides injury update on Markus Strong

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney provided an update regarding defensive tackle Markus Strong, suggesting the player may be able to return later this season.

Strong suffered a lower leg injury during the season opener against LSU on September 5 and subsequently underwent surgery. While Swinney previously indicated that Strong would likely miss the remainder of the year, he noted during a recent radio appearance that there is a possibility the senior could return for the postseason. Swinney stated, “I’m hearing good things about him, so we’ll see.”
