Clemson shuts out Charleston Southern 37-0

Clemson secured a 37-0 shutout victory against FCS opponent Charleston Southern at Memorial Stadium. The win marks the Tigers' first shutout in five seasons, with the defense holding the Buccaneers to only 76 total yards of offense and going 0-for-11 on third-down conversions.

Senior running back Chris Johnson Jr. contributed two rushing touchdowns, while Gideon Davidson added a 7-yard score. Special teams played a significant role in the scoring; kicker Nolan Hauser converted three field goals, including a career-long 59-yard attempt in the final minute of the first half. Safety Kylon Griffin also scored on a kickoff fumble recovery.

While the victory improves Clemson to a 4-2 record, analysts noted the offense's lack of explosive plays, despite the season-high scoring output. The Tigers now look ahead to their upcoming conference schedule.
