Clemson defensive tackle Vic Burley suspended after arrest

Clemson University defensive tackle Vic Burley has been suspended indefinitely following an arrest for disorderly conduct by the Clemson University Police Department on Saturday morning.

Head coach Dabo Swinney addressed the situation, stating, “We are extremely disappointed by his actions and decisions.”

Burley, a senior entering his fourth season, was expected to take on a significant role in the Tigers’ defense. Despite battling injuries during fall camp, he had recently returned to participate in scrimmages. His absence presents a challenge for the team as they prepare for their season opener against LSU on September 5.
