Clemson offensive line starters remain undecided for 2026 season
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has yet to finalize the starting offensive line for the 2026 season. The team faces the challenge of replacing four starters from the 2025 season ahead of their September 5 opener against number eleven LSU.
While senior center Harris Sewell and tackle Collin Sadler appear to have established positions, Swinney noted that the coaching staff is still rotating players at tackle and seeking depth at center to identify the five best performers. Offensive line coach Matt Luke has focused on recruiting larger players, with several recent enrollees weighing over 300 pounds.
Freshmen are playing a significant role in camp. Although not expected to start immediately, several early enrollees are competing for depth positions. Swinney expressed confidence in the talent and toughness of the recent recruiting classes, stating, “They are coming,” regarding the development of the young linemen.
