Clemson Tigers face Charleston Southern following bye week

The Clemson Tigers are set to face the Charleston Southern Buccaneers in Week 7 following a bye week. Clemson enters the matchup with a 3-2 record, having secured wins against Georgia Southern, North Carolina, and Cal, while suffering losses to LSU and Miami.

Charleston Southern holds a 3-3 record. The Buccaneers are expected to start redshirt sophomore quarterback Jared Echols, who recently exceeded expectations in his first career start.

Clemson faces challenges regarding offensive line continuity, with Easton Ware expected to start at right guard. The Tigers also deal with the loss of nickel Corian Gipson, who is out for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury; Donovan Starr is expected to fill that role.
