Clemson Tigers face injury concerns and performance shifts after Miami loss

Following Clemson’s 41-13 loss to No. 4 Miami, head coach Dabo Swinney provided an update on senior backup running back Jarvis Green. Green sustained a shoulder injury during the fourth quarter but was able to leave the field under his own power. Swinney stated that Green will undergo evaluation to determine the extent of the issue.

In terms of individual performances, cornerback Ashton Hampton saw an increase in stock after recording five solo tackles and two pass deflections against Malachi Toney. Conversely, linebacker Sammy Brown’s performance was noted as a low point for the defense, as the team struggled to contain Miami’s offense in the latter half of the game. Clemson enters a bye week before hosting Charleston Southern on Oct. 17.
