Clemson women's soccer defeats Campbell 5-0

The No. 24 ranked Clemson Tigers women's soccer team secured their first victory of the season with a 5-0 shutout win against Campbell University at Historic Riggs Field.

Clemson established an early lead in the seventh minute when sophomore Natalie Brooks scored the team's first goal of the season. The Tigers extended their lead before halftime with goals from Taylor Leib and Ella Bach, entering the break with a 3-0 advantage. In the second half, Maddie Costello and Reagan Thompson added goals to finalize the score.

Clemson dominated the match statistically, outshooting Campbell 30-4 and recording 13 shots on goal compared to Campbell's single shot on target. Clemson goalkeeper Nona Reason earned a shutout in her third performance of the season. Campbell's offense struggled to create opportunities, finishing the match with a 1-2-1 record.
