Clergy members depart roles in Deggendorf and Schildgen

In Deggendorf, Pastor Klaus-Ulrich Bomhard was honored during a festive service as he concludes his current community service. Dean Karolin Gerleigner praised his social commitment and dedication to supporting individuals in various life situations. Bomhard will transition to a new role as a school pastor within Deggendorf.

In Schildgen, Pastor Eva Manderla and sacristan Cornelia Beheng were also honored during a service at St. Andrew's Church. Manderla is retiring after more than 30 years of ministry, including service in Schildgen and Altenberg. To address upcoming vacancies, the community noted that Bjarne Thorwesten is serving in a probationary capacity, and efforts are being made to coordinate services between Altenberg and Schildgen.
