Clerhp Estructuras expands in Dominican Republic and targets Mercado Continuo

Spanish construction and development firm Clerhp Estructuras S.A. is transitioning into an integrated promoter model following the acquisition of 100% of Terrazas Lago S.R.L., the owner of the Marelago residential project in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. The $6.62 million transaction will be settled through the exchange of assets from the company’s other major Dominican project, Larimar City & Resort.

Clerhp expects Marelago to generate at least $60 million in sales, with housing deliveries scheduled between 2027 and 2028. The project benefits from the Confotur tax incentive regime in the Dominican Republic.

In tandem with its international expansion, Clerhp CEO Juan Andrés Romero announced plans to move the company to the Mercado Continuo by 2027. The firm has engaged the services of Ramón y Cajal to prepare for this listing, which aims to facilitate access to international capital. Clerhp has evolved from a family-owned construction business into an integrated urban developer with operations spanning Spain and several Latin American countries.
