Clermont-Ferrand man critically injured in stabbing attack

A 31-year-old man is in critical condition following a stabbing in Clermont-Ferrand. The attack occurred around 1:00 AM on Avenue des Paulines, where the victim sustained three knife wounds to the abdomen.

Police have arrested a 28-year-old suspect in the city center. The individual was reportedly intoxicated at the time of the arrest, with a blood alcohol level of approximately 1.60 g/l. The suspect has been taken into custody, though the motives for the attack remain unknown. The territorial criminality division is handling the investigation.
