Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders faces uncertain playing time

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders faces an uncertain timeline for playing time following the team's season opener. Despite a 34-10 loss to Jacksonville, head coach Todd Monken intends to continue starting veteran Deshaun Watson. Reports indicate Monken plans to give Watson a long leash through at least October, even as the offense struggles.

In a potential move to bolster depth, the Browns could consider signing wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., who was recently released by the Carolina Panthers. Horn, a former college teammate of Sanders at Colorado, could provide a familiar target if the Browns eventually undergo a quarterback change.
