Cleveland Browns weigh trade options for quarterback Shedeur Sanders

The Browns have not ruled out trading rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders after he lost the competition for the starting job to Deshaun Watson. Reports cite a possible move to the Indianapolis Colts, who recently signed Daniel Jones and could view Sanders as a developmental talent. The trade talk also includes third‑string quarterback Dillon Gabriel as another candidate for relocation. Sanders finished his rookie season with 1,400 passing yards, seven touchdowns and ten interceptions, plus 169 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. While the team has a four‑year rookie contract on him, Cleveland may prefer to keep him for the season to evaluate his progress before deciding on any transaction.
