Cleveland Cavaliers announce 21-player training camp roster

The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced their 21-player training camp roster ahead of a scheduled trip to Spain. The roster includes the team’s established core of Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen, alongside offseason additions such as Peyton Watson and Mario Hezonja.

Training camp invitees include Rashaun Agee, Zack Austin, Curtis Jones, and Kadary Richmond. The group also features three two-way players: Tristan Enaruna, Riley Minix, and Ernest Udeh Jr. The team faces decisions regarding its final 15-man regular-season roster and rotation depth, particularly in the backup point guard and reserve forward positions.

Head coach Kenny Atkinson has expressed high expectations for Evan Mobley, noting the player enters the season with a ‘chip on his shoulder’ following a season where he felt overlooked. The Cavaliers are set to hold media day before traveling to Fuengirola, Spain, for camp, which runs from September 30 through October 5. Their preseason schedule begins October 8 against the Boston Celtics.
