Cleveland Cavaliers coach says starting lineup is not yet set

Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson has stated that the team’s starting lineup is not yet finalized as the team approaches training camp. Atkinson noted that he currently identifies approximately 13 players who could justify rotational minutes for the upcoming season.

Among the players being considered for the rotation are Peyton Watson, who has impressed defensively and showed significant three-point shooting capabilities last season. Other players mentioned in discussions regarding depth and rotation include Mario Hezonja, Tyrese Proctor, Nae’Qwan Tomlin, and potentially Jaylon Tyson.

Potential lineup configurations remain a subject of speculation, with possibilities including shifts in the frontcourt involving Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, or adjustments to the small forward position.
