Cleveland Cavaliers to hold open training session in Málaga
The NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers will hold an open training session at the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace in Málaga on October 4. The event is part of the team's preparation for the 2026-2027 season during their stay in the Costa del Sol from September 30 to October 5.
Approximately 10,000 free tickets will be distributed among local sports schools, clubs, and institutions to promote youth basketball development. The Fuengirola City Council is specifically allocating 800 tickets to its Citizen Card holders, with applications opening on October 1.
The Cavaliers will utilize The Embassy high-performance center in Fuengirola for training sessions. The facility was established by former Spanish national team players Berni Rodríguez and José Calderón, the latter of whom currently serves as an advisor to the Cavaliers' management.
