Cleveland Cavaliers to hold public training in Málaga

The Cleveland Cavaliers will hold a public training session at the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace in Málaga on Sunday, October 4. This event marks a significant moment for the region, as it is the first time an NBA team has conducted its preseason training in Spain.

In collaboration with the Embassy high-performance center, the Málaga City Council, and the Andalusian Basketball Federation, the organization will distribute 10,000 tickets to young players from local clubs and academies. The initiative aims to strengthen the connection between the NBA and local basketball talent by allowing youth athletes to observe professional routines and physical preparation firsthand.

Prior to the public session, the team will train at the Embassy center in Fuengirola. The Embassy was designed by former Spanish national team players José Manuel Calderón and Berni Rodríguez, with Calderón currently serving as an assistant general for the Cavaliers.
