Cleveland Guardians beat Chicago White Sox on Rocchio walk-off

Brayan Rocchio delivered a walk-off two-run double in the ninth inning to lead the Cleveland Guardians to a 7-6 comeback victory over the Chicago White Sox. The win keeps Cleveland within a half-game of first place in the AL Central.

The Guardians established an early 3-0 lead behind home runs from Jo Adell and rookie Travis Bazzana. However, the White Sox rallied in the sixth inning, scoring four runs to take a 4-2 lead, highlighted by an RBI single from Miguel Vargas.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two outs and runners on second and third, Rocchio hit a fly ball toward the left-field corner that eluded a diving attempt by outfielder Sam Antonacci. This marked another instance of late-season heroics for Rocchio, who has recorded four walk-off hits in September.
