Tampa Bay Rays tie ALCS at 2-2 after defeating Cleveland Guardians

The Tampa Bay Rays tied the American League Championship Series at 2-2 after defeating the Cleveland Guardians 7-3 in Game 4 at Progressive Field. The victory follows a rain delay that postponed Friday's scheduled game, forcing a condensed schedule that eliminated the originally planned travel day.

Nick Martinez earned his first career postseason victory, pitching 5 1/3 innings and allowing only one run on two hits. The Rays' offense was bolstered by Jonathan Aranda, who recorded three hits and two RBIs, and Yandy Díaz, who hit a two-run home run in the ninth inning. Junior Caminero also contributed a key RBI double in the sixth inning.

The Guardians, who held a 2-1 series lead prior to the game, struggled with defensive errors. Despite a home run from Travis Bazzana, Cleveland could not overcome the Rays' offensive surge. The series now moves to Game 5 in Cleveland before returning to St. Petersburg, Florida, for Game 6 on Monday.
