Cleveland Guardians place Rhys Hoskins on 10-day injured list

The Cleveland Guardians have placed first baseman Rhys Hoskins on the 10-day injured list due to lower back inflammation. Hoskins, 33, has recorded 13 home runs in 95 games this season for Cleveland.

In a corresponding roster move, the Guardians recalled outfielder David Fry from Triple-A Columbus. Fry, a 2024 All-Star, has recently shown strong momentum in the minor leagues, hitting six home runs with a 1.169 OPS in eight games before his recall.
