Cleveland Guardians sweep Colorado Rockies 7-2

The Cleveland Guardians completed a three-game series sweep against the Colorado Rockies with a 7-2 victory on Sunday. Chase DeLauter contributed two triples and two RBIs, while Jo Adell added two RBIs to the win.

With this victory, the Guardians have won four consecutive games and six of their last eight. They remain tied with the Texas Rangers for the American League’s third and final wild-card spot. Pitcher Foster Griffin earned the win, allowing two earned runs over five innings.

The Rockies suffered their sixth consecutive loss, extending their home losing streak to nine games. Tomoyuki Sugano took the loss for Colorado after allowing five earned runs in three innings.
