Cleveland shooting leaves two dead and two injured

Two people were killed and two others were injured during a shooting in Cleveland’s Union Miles neighborhood on Monday night. Police responded to the 17600 block of Invermere Avenue around 10:40 p.m. on August 17.

Cleveland EMS pronounced a 17-year-old boy, identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner as Hasani Reed of South Euclid, and an 18-year-old man dead at the scene. A 17-year-old boy and a 34-year-old man were also wounded by gunfire; both were transported to local hospitals in private vehicles with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigations by Cleveland police suggest the gunfire may have been triggered by a family dispute. No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
