Click A Tree links hospitality industry to global reforestation

Heidelberg-based company Click A Tree is connecting the hospitality industry with reforestation projects to make sustainability more tangible for guests. By linking hotel bookings, menus, or events to tree planting, the company aims to provide a visible impact for travelers.

Major hospitality groups, including Marriott, Best Western, Ringhotels, and the Plaza-Gruppe, are already participating. To date, more than 300,000 trees have been planted through these initiatives in locations such as Germany, Ghana, Thailand, and the Philippines.

In Dietzenbach, Germany, an international world record attempt is planned for October 24. Supported by Click A Tree and initiated by Waldfreunde gGmbH, the event aims to have participants from at least 67 nations plant trees simultaneously in the Eulerwald forest.
