Climate mobilization planned in France and political warnings issued in Cameroon

In France, the association 'Bio Consom’acteurs' has issued a call for a national mobilization on September 26, 2026, to demand an emergency plan for climate change adaptation and mitigation. The initiative, subtitled 'March or Strike,' has garnered over 4,000 signatures and aims to organize decentralized local mobilizations in various prefectures and sub-prefectures.

In Cameroon, Michel Ange Angouing, a magistrate and former minister within the RDPC, has issued a public appeal for national unity, humility, and truth. Angouing warned against the erosion of societal values, stating, "If we make cheating a way of life, we will eventually be caught by the norm." He criticized the arrogance of those in power and called for a society built on humanity rather than hatred or the pursuit of wealth.
