Climate protection and volunteer events scheduled in Berlin and Tyrol

Various regional events in Germany and Austria are scheduled for October 2026 to promote climate protection and community engagement.

In Berlin, the third KiezKlima market will take place on October 9 at the Nachbarschaftshaus Urbanstraße in Kreuzberg. Organized by the Willma FreiwilligenAgentur, the event features over twenty stalls showcasing local environmental initiatives. Activities include a plant exchange, a bicycle repair workshop, and a children's clothing swap to encourage sustainable living and volunteerism.

In Tyrol, Austria, the 20th Klima-Netzwerktreffen will be held on October 5 at the Innsbrucker Landhaus. Under the theme ‘Together for the Climate: Strengthening Engagement and Shaping Change,’ the meeting aims to provide a platform for networking and sharing practical experiences. The program includes a keynote by Robert Seeger jun. and presentations on projects such as regional photovoltaic installations and the Team Karwendel volunteer initiative.
