Călin Georgescu rejects AI, prioritizing agriculture

Călin Georgescu has expressed strong opposition to artificial intelligence and digitalization, describing AI as a “digital Antichrist.” During an interview with Agro TV, the former presidential candidate argued that the future of the world lies in agriculture rather than technology. He stated that while the world moves toward digital threats, Romanian agriculture represents a path to prosperity and a way for the country to lead by example.

Georgescu emphasized that “you cannot eat money,” asserting that agricultural products are the only true source of survival. His platform focuses on a model of “water, food, energy” and advocates for a free market in agriculture that eliminates intermediaries, connecting Romanian producers directly to consumers to bypass large corporate chains. He also highlighted the importance of water management to prevent drought and ensure agricultural stability.
