Călin Georgescu supporters launch TikTok fundraising campaign

Following the seizure of his villa in Mogoșoaia by DIICOT, a fundraising campaign titled ‘1 euro pentru Călin Georgescu’ has emerged on TikTok. The campaign, launched by supporters, encourages donations ranging from 1 euro to as much as 1,000 euros to assist the former candidate.

While many supporters have expressed willingness to contribute via social media comments, some have urged caution, questioning the legitimacy of using private accounts for such collections to avoid legal complications. Călin Georgescu has stated that he does not accept donations and does not require financial assistance.
