Céline Dion arrives in Paris for upcoming concert residency

Canadian singer Céline Dion has arrived in Paris to prepare for a major return to the stage. After a hiatus of over six years due to her diagnosis of Stiff-Person Syndrome—a rare autoimmune neurological disorder—Dion is set to begin a 16-concert residency at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre starting September 12.

Upon her arrival at Le Bourget airport and subsequent check-in at the Royal Monceau hotel, Dion was met by large crowds of fans. She expressed her gratitude to her supporters, stating, “I have always felt supported from day one. France is truly my second home.”

The residency, which runs through mid-October, follows a period of intense physical preparation, including Pilates, ballet, and vocal therapy to manage the muscle stiffness and spasms caused by her condition. Due to high demand, additional performances are already scheduled for May 2027.
