Céline Dion completes Paris concert residency after six-year hiatus

Céline Dion has concluded a major series of concerts in Paris, marking her significant return to the stage after a six-year hiatus. The residency, held at the Plenitude Arena in La Défense, featured a repertoire of her most iconic hits, including ‘Because You Loved Me’, ‘Love Can Move Mountains’, and ‘My Heart Will Go On’.

Despite facing physical challenges related to Stiff Person Syndrome, the 58-year-old Canadian singer delivered emotional performances to crowds of thousands. During the final shows, she expressed her gratitude to her fans, stating, “I realized a dream,” and noting that she has learned to live with her condition and use it as a source of strength.

During her stay in the French capital, Dion resided at the Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris. Her return to the stage is expected to continue with additional performances and a new album planned for 2027.
