Céline Dion denies lip-syncing rumors during Paris residency

Céline Dion’s entourage has dismissed online accusations that the singer used pre-recorded vocal tracks during her residency at the Plénitude Arena in Nanterre. Following her return to the stage after a hiatus due to Stiff Person Syndrome, some social media users compared concert clips and suggested the use of playback during performances of hits such as ‘My Heart Will Go On’ and ‘All by Myself’.

Her representatives refuted these claims, stating that Dion performs one to two hours of daily soundchecks to ensure live vocal quality.

During the residency, Dion maintained strict privacy in her dressing room. While several high-profile figures, including Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron, were invited, they were unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts. The only guest permitted to visit her backstage was singer-songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman, who declined an offer to perform a duet during the show.
