Céline Dion faces film delays amid health issues and upcoming TV tribute

Singer Céline Dion is facing professional adjustments due to her ongoing health challenges. Following her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder causing muscle rigidity and spasms, there are reports that the release of her film 'Love Again' may be postponed. Sony Studios is reportedly considering a delay to the May 12, 2023, release date as the singer may be unable to participate in public promotional activities.

In contrast to these health-related delays, the French television channel W9 has announced a special tribute to the singer. On September 1, the channel will broadcast a unique episode of 'On connaît la chanson,' hosted by Laurence Boccolini. The program will feature ten personalities participating in musical quizzes and challenges centered on Dion’s extensive repertoire, serving as a celebration of her musical legacy ahead of her scheduled Paris concerts in 2026.
