Céline Dion arrives in Paris for major stage comeback
Canadian singer Céline Dion has arrived in Paris to prepare for a major stage comeback. After a multi-year hiatus caused by her diagnosis of Stiff-Person Syndrome in 2022—a rare neurological disorder involving muscle spasms and rigidity—the 58-year-old artist is set to begin a residency at the Plenitude Arena.
The residency includes 16 scheduled performances between September 12 and October 17, 2026, with an additional 10 shows planned for May 2027. Dion has been seen greeting fans outside her hotel, the Royal Monceau, and has reported that her initial rehearsals have gone “super bien”.
In addition to her musical return, Dion has collaborated with pastry chef Pierre Hermé on a limited-edition macaron collection titled “Infiniment Céline”. Her recent public appearances in Paris have also drawn significant attention from the fashion community, highlighting her signature style.
